David Brugge founded Christmas & Brugge in 2001 with John Christmas. Since John retired in 2018 the company has continued to grow and is one of the leading independent consultancies in the region. We have a good local reputation and many repeat clients.

  • DAVID BRUGGE B.SC (HONS) MRICS

    MANAGING DIRECTOR

    David is a General Practice Surveyor but has a wide range of surveying experience. He qualified in 1992 and managed the surveying department for a regional firm of estate agents for 5 years before becoming a Contracts Manager of a local house building company. He has a broad experience of both Building Surveying and Valuation matters but concentrates on the more traditional vernacular property. He has worked in Dorset for 40 years and now lives in the west of the County near Beaminster.

  • PETER HILL M.SC MRICS

    DIRECTOR

    Peter is a Chartered Surveyor with a range of surveying experience. He started his career in a commercial property management firm operating across London and the Home Counties. Peter’s experience with residential and traditional buildings began after a career move to the National Trust to manage multiple estates. Upon moving to Dorset in 2016 he became a Planned and Cyclical Manager for a housing provider before joining Christmas & Brugge to focus on traditional vernacular property, specialising in building surveys and projects.

  • OLIVER LINTON M.SC MRICS

    DIRECTOR

    Oliver is a Chartered Building Surveyor who started his career at a large commercial property consultancy in central London. He moved to Dorset in 2018 and lives in the east of the County near Blandford. He has a broad knowledge of both commercial and residential sectors, and specialises in pre-acquisition surveys, party wall matters, dilapidations and commercial project management.

  • RACHEL CARTER LLB (HONS) PGDIPSURV

    SURVEYOR

    Rachel graduated as a Building Surveyor in 2020, having already achieved a law degree and has experience in local authority building control and commercial property management. Rachel joined Christmas & Brugge in 2024 and is currently working towards becoming a Chartered Building Surveyor. Her interests are heritage properties and their conservation.
